Communication

2018-2019

Our Eco Team meet at least twice a half term with Mr Ingerson (Governor and member of the community), Miss Lambton and our parent representative Mrs Sydenham. The team are responsible for attending meetings with the committee, carry out tasks, plan their assemblies and lead the projects. The team have recently shared their work with the local magazine ‘Meon Matters’ and had their article published. They also planned and carried out a ‘whole school Eco day’ where all children were involved with planting new seeds, clearing beds and making new bird feeders. The team have also presented their current work and projects to Governors and were asked questions about their current topics which were clearly answered. Please see the pictures and documents below.

2016-2018

The Eco Team meet at least twice a term for a formal meeting with staff, governor and a parent representative. THey are supported by Mrs Ingerson (Governor and member of the community) and Mrs Marden (Parent).  The team are responsible for writing the agenda for each meeting and then organise work sessions to complete tasks, plan assemblies and lead projects. In order to involve and engage the whole school community, communication is really important.  Therefore, the team share updates on the school newsletter, as well as leading regular assemblies and sharing news in the local magazine Meon Matters. In addition, the Eco team also report to governors at least annually.

Please see the presentations and and images below as an example of our work in the last two years.
