Our Village
Our school is situated in East Meon village, which is within the South Downs National Park. We go into the village as much as possible to use it as part of our learning, for example exploring the river, the geography of the village from the top of Park Hill, participating in Remembrance and learning about the names on our war memorial. We are keen to play an active role in the village and participate in the May Fair, hold an annual Duck Race inviting all members of the village to take part. We take responsibility for our environment and collect litter in the village and lead the village with carol singing at Christmas. The school and children regularly contribute to the village magazine sharing our events and learning.
