What our Parents Tell Us
What Our Parents Say About Us
"East Meon was my first-choice school for both my children and it has been the best decision."
"Our school is like a big family where children across the different year groups play and support each other. I believe many parents (myself included) chose the school because it is small, nurturing and a space where every individual child is valued and heard."
"The school offers a warm and nurturing environment where children feel cared about and valued. As a result of this, the children thrive in their learning and strive to demonstrate the school's key values. It also has strong Christian beliefs which are at the core of the school day and shows in the respect that the children have for one another."
"The teachers really care about the children and as a parent, I am reassured that they are always accessible and visible if I need to talk to them. I have always felt supported and listened to. It is a privilege to be part of such a special school community. My children go into school happy and come home happy, which is the most important thing to me."
"East Meon School is at the heart of a vibrant local community with each playing a positive role in the lives of the children."
"The headteacher knows each child and parent and plays an active role in their learning and development."
Parent Feedback
We regularly ask parents to share feedback about our school to help us on our continual improvement journey. Sometimes we ask parents for their views about specific areas, such as residential trips and uniform. Sometimes we ask for views to inform our decision making around new policies or curriculum programmes, such as developing our Relationship and Sex Education Policy and Curriculum. Other times, we might ask parents more generally for feedback about our school.
We try to use a variety of surveys and consultations and Miss Olver will always meet with parents to discuss any specific feedback or concerns.
Parent View
OFSTED have a website called 'Parent View' where parents are able to share their views about their child's school. Please use the link below if you would like to do this.
