Eco Flag
The whole school gathered in a special assembly, led by the Eco Team on Monday. They talked to the school about keeping healthy in the warm weather, walking to school and shared information about our carbon footprint.
The assembly ended with the whole school outside to see the Eco Flag being raised for the first time. The Eco Team wrote a prayer to give thanks for the world we live in and for all the help they received from the wider community to achieve the Green Flag:
Dear lord,
Thank you for the beautiful world we live in and the friendly people that live on it.
Help us to continue to look after and protect our world by recycling, saving energy, keeping healthy and saving water.
Help the eco team with their work so they can continue to be a green flag eco school. Thank you to all the grown ups that have helped us to get this far.
