Green Flag

The Eco Committee are pleased to announce that after lots of hard work East Meon Primary School has achieved the Green Flag award.  The Green Flag is the highest award a school can be given. Children met with the assessor, took her on a tour of the school and showed her all the evidence that had been gathered.  We had to demonstrate being eco in a number of topics - saving energy, links with other schools, global perspective, recycling, use of our grounds , communicating with the wider community.

 

We have now have a green flag which will be displayed outside school once the flag pole arrives.
