Oak

We are the youngest children in our school. We enjoy learning through play and having lots of fun!

Our teachers are Mrs Perkins on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and Mrs Duerden on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

A busy few weeks with a visit to the farm and the arrival of our chicks!

This half term we are thinking about animals and new life. We are very excited to be incubating some eggs in our classroom and we will then be caring for the chicks for the rest of the half term. We candled the eggs to see if they are growing and discovered that we think 3 of eggs are growing chicks in them.

We have been thinking about different kinds of transport and the children have enjoyed making a variety of models!

The children have enjoyed finding out a little about Africa as part of our international week

We made our own Jollof, which is an African rice dish. The children thought it was delicious and some came back for thirds! They asked me to share the recipe so they could make it at home!
