Writing
At East Meon, we provide a love of writing by promoting a rich vocabulary filled environment. At the beginning of a child’s school journey, they will learn all letters and sounds, where they build on this knowledge to increase fluency to achieve the high expectation set by the adults around them. Every child achieves, through well scaffolded learning opportunities. We build up their stamina by providing all children with a range purposes for writing as well as the appropriate challenge for individuals. When the child leaves our school, they can confidently communicate in a range of contexts.
